A demonstration of the Canon EOS 550D / Rebel T2i's new Movie Crop mode, which films VGA video using only the central 640x480 pixels of the sensor. nnBy only recording small cropped area, this has the effect of magnifying the image by 7.2x. So in this video, the EF-S 18-135mm IS lens, zoomed-in, would normally deliver an equivalent coverage of 216mm in the standard movie mode, but in the Movie Crop mode, it effectively becomes 1555mm!nnThis video clip is part of my full review of the camera at:n
