Description: The stunning Red-winged Parrotis found across the far north of Australia, almost all of Queensland, extending into northern and central NSW.Also found in southern New Guinea.Typically in arid and semi arid habitats it is found close to water courses.A couple of males are filmed, one eating mistletoe berries in the last light of an evening. nnA juvenile bird can be seen at: https://vimeo.com/114848229nnFilmed at Bowra Station(see http://www.australianwildlife.org/sanctuaries/bowra-sanct
