The total solar eclipse of August 1, 2008 was videotaped from Jinta, China under perfect weather conditions. I used a Sony hi-8 camcorder (HD was still to expensive in 2008) with a 2x teleconverter to magnify the Sun's image. I think the audio track of this video captures the excitement in our voices.
