Description:
For the Houndmouth video “Sedona,” I chose the location of Miracle Manor, a beautiful old motel out in the desert near Palm Springs, because I wanted the video to have something of the light and feeling from 1970s new American cinema. I usually shoot all my own footage, but in this case I asked a documentary cinematographer, Allie Humenuk, to join me because I thought the mix of handheld, casual footage and my more framed set ups would make for a dreamy yet intimate introduction to the band.
