This Spitfire belonged to the Indian Air Force once upon a time. It was displayed outside the Western Air Command HQ at Subroto Park till 1978 when it was auctioned off to collectors. Acquired by Doug Arnold of UK, the aircraft was later sold to Jim Beasley, who got it restored by the Fighter Collection. It is seen here, at the Mid-Atlantic Aviation Museum's World War two Weekend, held at Reading, PA.
