Fabrica de teracotă din Mediaș a fost inființată în anul 1906 de către sasul Gref Iulius. Timp de aproape 80 de ani (1938 – 2015) aceasta a schimbat mai mulți proprietari, printre aceștia numărându-se inclusiv Statul Român.
